This is a great opportunity for an experienced Site Manager to join our well-established team, managing a variety of exciting commercial, education and healthcare projects in the North East.
We are currently going through a welcome period of growth so the ideal candidate would be able to confidently manage their team from day one. However, we are also happy to consider time-served tradespeople or those currently self-employed and looking for a stable workflow, who are ambitious and keen to undertake further training to make sure they are fully up-to-date for the role.
In other words, if you have the practical talent, on-site experience, an organised, communicative personality and would fit in well with our team, we will do everything we can to support you to succeed as a Site Manager at McCarrick Construction.

As the North East's Apprentice Employer of the Year 2021, our apprenticeships are highly sought after. They are a chance to earn while you learn, and to gain vital on-site experience that will set you up for life as you learn your craft among highly respected and skilled craftsmen.
We normally take on apprentices in the summer – the best route is usually through your college co-ordinators who will help you apply and arrange a trial period with us to see how you get on, and for you to see if you'll enjoy learning and working in the industry. If you're selected for an apprenticeship, you'll start in September.
The Apprenticeships Team at New College Durham is a good place to start although we will consider apprentices from any college as long as they are enthusiastic and keen to be a useful part of our team.
We are only looking for the best to add to our supply chain. If you believe safety is a core value and have a team who deliver a quality product, please contact info@mccarrick.co.uk and request a copy of our PQQ form.
